About the Job
Advanced Water Technology is interested in adding a mechanical, problem-solving service technician to our team to help our customers receive the best water possible. Candidates must have a team-player mentality, carry out certain physically demanding tasks, and be willing to work as a part of the AWT family to provide the absolute best for our clients and customers.
Our selection process includes pre-employment screening, interviews, post-offer drug tests, and background screenings.
Starting pay is based on experience, and we do offer on-the-job training.
Description of Duties
A Service Technician at Advanced Water Technology can expect duties that include but are not limited to:
- Custom-building water conditioning equipment
- Installing systems and equipment on-location at customers' homes and places of business
- Providing routine maintenance on our equipment at homes and businesses to ensure continual operation and quality performance for our systems
- Organizing the warehouse and helping maintain a functional operation at headquarters
- Providing helpful, friendly and responsive customer service at every interaction
Skills and Requirements:
- 1+ years of water conditioning or plumbing experience preferred
- Must be able to work in a physically demanding environment (lifting 50+ lbs, crawling under houses, working in all types of weather, etc.)
- Must have a clean driving record
- Must be mechanically inclined
- Must have a "problem-solver" mentality
- Must enjoy and excel in a team environment
- Must have an upbeat and positive outlook
- Must be dedicated and reliable
